Which brings me tooooo...About a week ago I was able to attend a HUGE stamp show here in Akron Ohio and found this awesome stamp company! Stampsmith! If you love Vintage/Retro images...you gotta check out this site! I got this really cool sheet called "Rock N Roll". I inked up John Lennon with 3 SU ink pads and sprayed it with water then stamped on Neenah cs. I then colored up some (Melody Ross) chip art birds with Copics and blended them together AFTER I had stamped them with "Peace" (from a lcs) in Memento black. I used BG Ambrosia dp , an EK border punch and here is the list of copic colors: BV13,08-YG95- YR blend (several) and added some shiny bling spots! Just a note...this rubber sheet has other "rockers" on it too..if u r interested in it= it is not on the main site so email them (Stampsmith) and they will direct you to the correct page. NOW..Get over to the dt blog and check out the FAB work of my DT Sistas!!! Have a wonderful weekend!!!

NEW "SPRING BREEZE" by Phindy!

Here is my card using a NEW image over at Phindy's Place called "Spring Breeze"! Will you just look at that sweet baby in the basket?? How darn cute is that??ha ha! I LOVE to hang my clothes on the line in the Spring- and I thought of MY mom when coloring this- that's why THIS mom ended up with the dark hair. My mom would have LOVED this image ...She had 8 children- 6 girls and 2 boys...dont know how she ever did it. I colored her with many Copics and sponged the sky lightly then I added some grass. The sentiment is computer generated and I added some grass there. Dp is Cosmo Cricket mini deck called "Material Girl". Can you just imagine the sweet Vintage/ Retro cards you could make with this image?? Doesnt time fly by? Today is also my Anniversary of 31 yrs - married to my best friend! I consider myself blessed! A "Phindy's Place" challenge

It is the "first Friday" of "Phindy's " challenge blog with A LOT more Friday challenges to come! To start out, the new DT has decided to make this an "anything goes" with a Phindy image challenge! I chose this wonderful image called "softball girl". Can you just imagine...trying to pic a favorite Phindy image??? too hard for this girl! So....I simply HAD to pic this little softball girl cuz she reminded me sooooo much of my one dd when she was little! She played baseball, volleyball and basketball thru her school years and because she was this little tiny girl her whole life she always had to work her tail off! The little blond braids just got to me! I used my copics to color this up: G40,82- outfit+ Y21 and E33 hair+ T3- spikes with a little brown. Dp is BG and I used a few EK punches. Be sure to check out the other dt member's cards on their blogs! (links on my side bar) Phindy will be giving out some great blog candy too!!! Have a GREAT weekend! :)

The Holy Spirit...by Our Daily Bread designs

note: traditional colors for Roman Catholic Confirmation are Red, Gold and white- therefore=
Most people that know me- know I work at my church. I am the director of Religious Ed there and I really LOVE the children. I live in a small country township and that makes our church all the more special. The grade 9 class is making their Confirmation this Thurs eve and I always make cards for the Bishop and his helpers. Kelley, owner of Our Daily Bread lives in my town and was generous enough to give me this set called appropriately "Confirmation" and this beautiful dp (Flair I think) to make the cards this year. I also purchased this SB die to make the book cut. I really love how beautiful these came out with just pulling together these few simple things! I believe it is the simple beauty of "God's Word" that makes the card so awesome! Okay! Enough of my preaching! thanks for looking!
